       Each print is signed and numbered.

     The original ink drawings are priced at $125.00 each and were created on 60lb 11x14 drawing paper.

Molten Lava & Sewer Sludge Resin Dunnys

Hello Everyone

Pre-orders for the Molten Lava & Sewer Sludge 3" Resin Dunnys will open up on Saturday December 1st, 2012 at 12:00 am EST on my webstore at http://osirisorion.storenvy.com . Each Dunny is hand casted in resin and hand painted by yours truly. Molten Lava is painted in flesh tone, metallic red & yellow with a black wash. Sewer Sludge is painted in flesh tone, with metallic green, blue and yellow also with a black wash. 

Pricing is as follows

Each figure is signed and numbered on the bottom of the feet. Pre-orders will end  Friday December 7th, 2012 at 11:00 pm EST. The figures will be ready to ship by Friday December 14th, 2012!

 

 

In the spirits of the holidays, Everyone who purchases a set or individual figure will be entered in a contest! What kind of contest you ask? Well as you might of already guessed this figure has no name! So I'm leaving that up you. What do you have to do? Well purchase a set or individual molten lava & sewer sludge resin dunny. Then when you checkout, in the notes section type the name for the resin dunny you want as your contest entry!

 

 

Then on Xmas morning, I will pick the winning entry. One lucky person will win an 8" custom vinyl dunny in the same likeness as these resin figures. You will also have the choice if you want a sewer sludge or molten lava colorway. 03/23/2012 – “Bellicosity” Bellicose Bunny Group Custom Show @ Toy Art Gallery, Los Angeles

Hey Everyone! Here is my custom Belicose Bunny for the "Belicosity" show that will be taking place at Toy Art Gallery on 3/23/12 in Los Angeles! for those of you unfamiliar with the Belicose Bunny vinyl figure, it is the creation of Nathan Hamill and produced by 3D Retro
I decided to opt out of sculpting on the figure because it stands well on it's own. I wanted to paint the piece as if I were going to do a short production run. I used Monster Kolor airbrush paints to paint my "colorway" version of the Belicose Bunny!
This piece will be available for sale the day of the show and on Toy Art Gallery's website after the opening night!
here is the little backstory of Belicose Bunny from 3D Retro's site
"Forged by the stars and space alike, and stuff and things, the Bellicose Bunny was enlisted by top minds throughout the universe to seek out, thwart and destroy all known evil. Equipped with a pair of space goggles and the Sword of Ulyssia, he mounted his Daucus: Class 8 Rocket and embarked on his quest. Now he's reached this galaxy and needs our help in his noble mission. FOE has curated a group show paying homage to monsters. The idea of monsters is as old as civilization and what society defines as monstrous changes and morphs through time and culture. Depending on when and where you grew up, it’s likely some version of monster, urban myth or story shaped your fears and nightmares. No one escapes this rite of passage. Come out to see how 20 different artists from westernmass to Japan interpret their own unique fears, repulsions and pleasures. It may sound scary, but monsters are fun too, and fears confronted (or exercised) are fears conquered.

An Afternoon with NemO & Space Junk Destroyer

Yesterday was a great day! I got to hang out with my buddy Mike "NemO" Mendez and brought over my
Space Junk Destroyer sculpt for him to check out! I explained to Mike that I wasn't 100% happy with the sculpt, I felt it needed something more... and this is what Mike came up with so far



I was able to shoot some video while Mike was sculpting. I used the Super 8 iPhone app, which shoots video like the old school super 8 cameras.. pretty neat!

Mike is an awesome friend and sculptor! I can't thank him enough for helping me out with the sculpt! With Mike's revisions to the sculpt, it will be possible to easily cast it in resin!

So stay tuned kids, I will be updating the progress on Space Junk Destroyer soon as Mike is done with the re-sculpt!
